we had a fantastic stay here! it's a huge improvement from our previous visit with newly painted rooms that are bright and welcoming. the location is perfect for kids, as it's just a short walk to the amusement park, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Perfect spot for a beach trip

We had a decent stay! The location is super close to the beach and other attractions, which was a major win. The room looked nice when we walked in, and we had no issues with hot water for the shower. But man, the bed was like sleeping on a squeaky trampoline. The train noise was a little much, too.

The room was pretty basic and felt a bit outdated. The mattress was uncomfortable, like sleeping on a rock, and the decor was definitely stuck in the past. On a brighter note, it was mostly clean and the staff were friendly. But the outlets were a problem. some didn’t work, which made it annoying to charge devices. Location was the best part though, right across from the beach. Would've liked better amenities for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at Mt Royal Motel! The location near the beach was perfect. Though the room showed signs of wear, it maintained a cozy charm. Staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to returning!

Convenient location but dated rooms

Great location right across from the amusement park! My room had a kitchenette, which was helpful, and was mostly clean. The flat-screen TV and air conditioning worked well. The outdoor swimming pool looks nice for summer days. Just beware, the interior feels super dated, but we didn't stay in for long!

This place suits me perfectly! Free parking, seasonal outdoor pool, and fast wi-fi provide everything I need. On my first stay, the staff even helped with bug spray! Highly recommend for a great time. I'm coming back for a city break!

great location near attractions but needs some improvements

The location was excellent. We could easily walk to main attractions. The staff responded quickly when we needed assistance.

The accommodations could be better.

i stayed at mt royal motel for 2 nights and found the location fantastic, right across from a roller-coaster amusement park. the staff was super nice, and the room, a deluxe quadruple, was clean with modern amenities like a fridge and microwave. plus, the seasonal pool is a great bonus for summer fun!

Good spot for couples looking for a beach

Had a nice clean room with a coffee maker and pods to start the mornings off right! The shower had nice hot water and clean towels, I guess. I felt known and valued, which was unexpected.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was acceptable for what you got.

We loved the location, super close to the beach, and enjoyed some fun at Monkey Trunks and Dunegrass Golf Club. Check-in was smooth, and our room was clean and comfy. It’s a perfect spot if you want easy access to everything and just need a place to crash after a day out.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable and made loud noises every time we moved. The train passing by at night was also a bit disruptive, so light sleepers might want to consider that.
